Do Not Sell
Do Not Sell or Share My Info
Last updated: 2026-08-03
Under the CCPA/CPRA and equivalent US state statutes you may direct a business to stop selling or sharing your personal information for targeted advertising. Here is what that means on this site, and how to do it.
After the Request
The practical result: identifiers stop going to advertising partners, ads become generic rather than personalised, and nothing else differs. You keep full access to the site and we do not treat opted-out readers differently.
What Triggers This Right
What actually happens: no data is sold for money, but where advertising is served on upagainpup.com, advertising partners may receive cookie or device identifiers. State privacy laws define ‘sale’ and ‘sharing’ broadly enough that this may be caught, so we offer an opt-out rather than take a narrow view. This covers all of upagainpup.com, including readers interested in Upagainpup who arrive from a search result and read a single page.
Making the Request
The quickest route needs no message from you at all: enable Global Privacy Control in your browser or as an extension. We detect and honour that signal automatically on every visit. Alternatively, set your preference in the cookie consent banner where one is shown, or email hello@upagainpup.com with ‘Do Not Sell or Share’ as the subject line. No account is needed, and we do not require you to create one.
The State Privacy Notice sets out every right these statutes provide, not just this one.
